SUSE 9.3

ZDNet UK released a story that SUSE 9.3 is being released today.

I can't find anything about this on any official SUSE sites. Nothing on the US ZDNet site. I haven't seen any of the "pre-release fanfare" that usually comes before a release. I'm guessing Ingrid Marson is just mistaken.

It's funny because the same story is being run on Yahoo, but it looks like a draft version because it says, "SuSE Linux Professional 9.2, due out on Wednesday, will include a desktop search tool and iPod support..." (it appears technically-inclined editorial staff are hard to come by these days), if it's been changed since I wrote this, you'll have to trust me when I tell you it said 9.2, I don't deem this screenshot-worthy.

Re: SUSE 9.3
Yeah, but, "SuSE Linux Professional 9.3, due out on Wednesday" sounds like a release, like "come and get it". It doesn't sound like an announcement. That's how I took it, anyway. Thanks for coming by, Tom! You stationed in Germany? I was at Ramstein for 4 years. Posted 15 years, 7 months ago by Damian • • • Reply
